Mumford & Sons @The Arena

Mumford & Sons' tour came to Newcastle's Metroradio Arena and I was given the opportunity to go and see them so me and Chloe decided to go with a group of friends!

The gig overall was absolutely brilliant as Mumford & Sons mixed songs from their newly released album, Babel, while capturing the crowd with their well-known classics from their first album, Sigh No More. Their encore was something special as they made their way to the middle of the arena where the light and sound controls are situated to play a few songs for the audience towards the middle of the arena and then made their way back for The Cave and With A Little Help From My Friends from The Beatles.

We didn't make the arena in time to see the support acts but Mumford were joined by Dawes on a few occasions to play a few songs and add a different feel to the typical folk-genre feel that Mumford so often display!

I would definitely recommend going to get tickets to see them during their following tour and when they appear at the UK's festivals in summer '13 as their confirmation of headlining T in The Park has already caused excitement and rumours of them headlining many other festivals around Europe.
